Do you know Newgie.com? I’ve found this site two days ago, and i’ve tried to sign up and watch inside… so, it’s COOL! Not an online standard news aggregator, but interesting news, chosen from the other people joined the site.
Newgie determines how relevant and interesting is a news for the people with a new technology called IntelliRank: views and recommendations make an article more relevant, so that news get higher rank than other. And “time is an enemy”, so newer articles have higher rank than older news… (read here for more detailed explanation).
With the IntelliRank system anyone can see and read relevant news: in addition, there are other systems for news searching, such as Categories and Communities.
The most important feature for me is surely the Community system: user groups with specific news, see and share articles with everyone joins the community!
For example, I’ve joined the “WOW! - News that makes your jaw drop” community (see the image above), one of the most largest and interesting of Newgie: news across the world, a good pastime for me!
In the Newgie system I’ve found a good alternative to the Google News site: relevant news for me with a nice look. Give it a try!

Just came in, ordered a Big Mac Menu with Coke and French Fries, good lunch! The service is quite good, an average number of free seats, good, fast and cheap meal with friends, and ready to go visit the rest of city, no long and boring lunches.
And after, why not take a dessert like McFlurry with Smarties (like M&M’S)? Done!
I believe that is a good place for fast and good meal, especially cheap… And a worldwide guarantee! Everywhere I’m going there is a nice place for eat something good.

Lenovo Group Ltd and IBM are recalling more than half a million notebook computer batteries made by Sony Corp. after a computer caught fire at the Los Angeles International Airport, Lenovo and US safety officials said.Sony separately initiated a global replacement program for lithium-ion batteries it made for notebook PC companies, saying short circuits could occur on rare occasions when tiny metal particles come in contact with other parts of the batteries.
